JOB DESCRIPTION
Design, implement, and optimize C++ algorithms for image processing and computer vision tasks such as filtering, feature extraction, measurement, defect detection, 2D/3D alignment, etc.
Work closely with optics and hardware engineers to improve image acquisition quality and system performance.
Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to image quality, lighting, lens, sensors, and calibration.
Integrate third-party vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV, Halcon, Pylon) as needed.
Research and prototype new vision algorithms for challenging inspection or recognition problems.
Ensure performance optimization for real-time processing (CPU/GPU).
Mentor junior team members and help maintain high code quality through code reviews and documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Automation, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in C++ development for image processing or computer vision.
Deep understanding of computer vision algorithms and practical experience with libraries such as OpenCV, Halcon, or similar.
Solid knowledge of optics, including camera lenses, lighting systems, focal length, depth of field, etc.
Strong problem-solving skills and debugging experience with both code and imaging hardware.
Experience working with industrial cameras and vision systems.
Good communication and documentation skills. Able to work independently and in a team.
