JOB DESCRIPTION
End-user client in the fashion industry covering planning, production, and sales• Development project for the core enterprise system (基幹システム) and related systems• Lead the onsite team and work directly with the client to define requirements• Translate and communicate requirements to the offshore team; manage the project plan and delivery progress, review deliverables, and report to the client• Build strong client trust to be entrusted with critical responsibilities and new opportunities/projects• Project size: 3–5 onsite / 20–30 offshore• Frequent business trips to Osaka• Friendly client with smooth day-to-day communication• The client is keen to deliver the project while learning development experience and technical know-how from Vietnam-based BrSEs
REQUIREMENTS
Must have:• Japanese communication skills equivalent to JLPT N2 or above• 3+ years of experience as a BrSE• Ability to handle upper-stream phases (requirements definition, design)• Fast learner with logical thinking and a proactive mindset• Team management experience• Experience working with offshore teams
Preferred:• Experience with retail systems• Experience with ERP systems• Experience with technical foundations/platform technologies
BENEFITS
Bonuses: Twice a year (in July and December).
Salary Increase: Annually in August.
Housing Allowance: 30,000 yen per month.
Transportation Allowance: Up to 35,000 yen per month.
Client Visit Expenses: 100% of travel expenses for client visits are covered.
Dependent Support: Spouse: 10,000 yen per month. Each child: 10,000 yen per month.
Vacation and Company Travel: One time per year.
