Join an automotive engineering project and work closely with Japanese customers on-site in Atsugi (Kanagawa)• Develop, simulate, and analyze system models using Simulink/Matlab in line with project requirements• Contribute to Functional Safety–related activities within the development process and deliverables• Work with onsite and offshore teams to keep delivery on track and meet quality expectations• Share progress and technical updates through meetings and written reports

Required experience:• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above, able to participate in meetings and handle daily work communication• 1+ year of hands-on experience in embedded systems and/or automotive projects• Able to work onsite in Atsugi (Kanagawa) at least 3 days per week (fully remote not available)

Preferred experience:

Practical experience with Simulink and/or Matlab in real projects• Knowledge of, or exposure to, Functional Safety in system development• Experience working with Japanese customers and/or in an onsite–offshore delivery model

Bonuses: Twice a year (in July and December).

Salary Increase: Annually in August.

Housing Allowance: 30,000 yen per month.

Transportation Allowance: Up to 35,000 yen per month.

Client Visit Expenses: 100% of travel expenses for client visits are covered.

Dependent Support: Spouse: 10,000 yen per month. Each child: 10,000 yen per month.
