Bridge System Engineer (BrSE) for E-commerce platform development projects, connecting clients or PMs in Japan with the development team in Vietnam

Participate in system design, requirement analysis, and development coordination for large-scale E-commerce systems

Work directly with Japanese clients on requirement analysis, specification clarification, and scope and design alignment

Translate business requirements into technical design documents for the offshore development team

Break down tasks and coordinate execution across the development team

Support the offshore team in understanding requirements, design documents, and business flows

Review source code, API design, and system architecture

Monitor project progress and manage quality, delivery, and risks

Participate in the design of E-commerce platforms and related systems, including order management, inventory management, payment systems, and API integration with external services

Technology stack and development environment

Backend: Java (Spring Boot), REST API (OpenAPI / Swagger)

Frontend: JavaScript / jQuery, Thymeleaf (HTML / CSS)

Infrastructure: Docker, Linux / WSL, Jenkins (CI/CD)

Database: PostgreSQL

Tools: Git, Redmine, Slack

Required experience:• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above• Ability to work directly with Japanese clients• Experience as a BrSE or Technical Communicator• Understanding of the software development lifecycle• Experience in E-commerce, web systems, or API integration• Ability to read design documents and prepare technical specification documents

Preferred experience:• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST API design, or microservice architecture• Project experience in EC sites, order management, or payment and logistics integration• Experience working with offshore development teams• Experience working directly with Japanese clients• Experience in system design• Experience in performance optimization for EC sites• Understanding of Clean Architecture or SOLID principles

Bonuses: Twice a year (in July and December).

Salary Increase: Annually in August.

Housing Allowance: 30,000 yen per month.

Transportation Allowance: Up to 35,000 yen per month.

Client Visit Expenses: 100% of travel expenses for client visits are covered.

Dependent Support: Spouse: 10,000 yen per month. Each child: 10,000 yen per month.
