JOB DESCRIPTION
Participate in the development of business systems for one of Japan’s leading insurance companies.
May be required to work onsite at the client’s office for short-term assignments to study business operations, development processes, deployment, and support activities when necessary.
Participate in all development phases, including BD, DD, CD, UT, IT, and ST.
Manage project progress and provide regular reports to Japanese clients in collaboration with onsite members.
Ensure project schedule and quality are properly maintained.
Manage a team of 5 to 10 members.
Act as a key member during the project build-up phase, with the opportunity to grow into an ODC Manager role.
REQUIREMENTS
Japanese N2, good at reading and writing documents, good communication in reports
5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of experience as a BrSE
Have worked as a DD, ability to read and understand BD
Know at least one object-oriented language, have at least 2 years of experience as a SE
Able go to onsite short tern (3 months)
Hard-working, progressive, eager to learn, not afraid of challenges
Experience managing a team of 5 or more people
Experience working in the financial sector such as banking, insurance...
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure
Experience living and working in Japan
Experience using generative AI in software development.
