JOB DESCRIPTION
Join system development projects for Japanese manufacturing clients, focusing on MES-related systems, production management, and equipment data• Lead upstream phases as PM/PL, from requirements definition and design to implementation planning• Work directly with Japanese customers to clarify requirements, analyze incomplete inputs, identify issues, and propose solutions• Lead discussions with customers and stakeholders to align scope, schedule, quality, and issue resolution• Manage WBS, schedule, quality, risks, issues, and project documentation• Review and improve requirements documents, design documents, and project management materials• Improve project management practices and documentation quality during project execution• Work onsite in the Nagoya/Aichi area, Japan
REQUIREMENTS
Required experience:• Japanese proficiency at N1 level or above, with near-native customer-facing communication and meeting facilitation skills• 5+ years of PM/PL experience in system development projects• Experience leading projects from requirements definition and design through implementation or operations• Experience creating WBS and managing schedule, quality, risks, and project documentation• Ability to clarify incomplete requirements or instructions, propose solutions, and lead customer discussions• Experience improving project documentation or project management practices during executionPreferred experience:• Experience in system development or project management for manufacturing clients, especially MES-related systems or equipment data• Knowledge or experience in AI-based visual inspection, IoT platforms, or Japanese SIer projects
BENEFITS
