JOB DESCRIPTION
Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle for Banking and Financial Services projects.
Define project scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and project execution plans.
Coordinate with clients, Business Analysts, Technical Leads, Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation plans.
Manage project scope, change requests, deliverables, and acceptance milestones.
Facilitate project meetings, including Kick-off, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Steering Committee meetings.
Prepare regular project status reports for clients and senior management.
Support technical teams in solution discussions and technical decision-making when required.
Ensure project compliance with SDLC processes, quality standards, and banking security requirements.
Lead, motivate, and coach cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 4 years of experience as a Project Manager or in an equivalent project management role.
Proven experience managing software development projects.
Hands-on experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech projects.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies.
Solid experience in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams simultaneously.
Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Software Developer or a strong programming background is highly preferred.
Ability to understand source code, APIs, databases, and communicate effectively with technical teams.
Experience managing Banking solutions such as Core Banking, Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, Digital Banking, Payment Systems, Lending, Treasury, or CRM.
PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, Prince2, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
Good English communication skills.
