JOB DESCRIPTION
Contribute to the development and modernization of store operations, POS, customer management, and other business applications in the retail domain• Develop frontend functions using React and TypeScript, and backend functions using Java/Spring Boot or other technologies suitable for the system• Build reusable UI components based on the Design System and work with the UI/UX team to implement designs from Figma• Participate in technical design and function development within the assigned scope• Collaborate with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers in Japan, and the offshore development team to clarify requirements and implement functions• Improve system performance, code quality, and maintainability• Participate in product development, deployment, release, and improvement under an Agile/Scrum model
REQUIREMENTS
Required experience:• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development or in both frontend and backend development• Proficiency in React and TypeScript, with experience in responsive UI development and REST API integration• Experience using Java/Spring Boot or one of the following backend technologies: Node.js, NestJS, Express, or C#• Experience working with RESTful APIs and relational databases• Ability to develop assigned functions independently and collaborate effectively with Japanese engineers• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in EnglishPreferred experience:• Experience with Vite, Tailwind CSS, React Router, or Context API• Experience with AWS, Docker, Storybook, or MSW• Experience in POS systems, Retail DX, or enterprise application development• Knowledge of performance optimization or microservices architecture
BENEFITS
