JOB DESCRIPTION
Contribute to the development and modernization of store operations, POS, customer management, and other business applications in the retail domain• Develop frontend functions using React and TypeScript, and backend functions using Java/Spring Boot or other suitable backend technologies• Build reusable UI components based on the Design System and collaborate with the UI/UX team to implement designs from Figma• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical design• Work directly with clients, Product Owners and UI/UX Designers in Japan, and the offshore development team to clarify and coordinate business and technical requirements• Conduct source code reviews, ensure development quality, and improve system performance and maintainability• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members• Participate in product development, deployment, release, and continuous improvement under an Agile/Scrum model
REQUIREMENTS
Required experience:• Japanese proficiency equivalent to JLPT N2 or above, with the ability to communicate directly with clients and coordinate business and technical matters• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development• Proficiency in React and TypeScript, with experience using Java/Spring Boot or equivalent backend technologies• Experience designing RESTful APIs and databases for Web systems• Experience in system architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and ensuring development quality• Experience providing technical guidance or support to junior team members• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in EnglishPreferred experience:• Experience with AWS, Docker, Storybook, or MSW• Experience developing POS systems, Retail DX solutions, or large-scale enterprise applications• Experience in performance optimization or knowledge and development experience in microservices architecture
BENEFITS
