JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Business Analysis & Technical Documentation Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and identify business requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and insurance/financial industry regulations.
Translate business requirements into detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including business processes, flowcharts, ERDs, data mapping, and system user guides.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and clarity of documentation for stakeholders, including IT, business, and QC teams.
Support the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process by developing test scenarios, validating results, and ensuring product quality.
Work closely with development, testing, and business teams to resolve issues arising during the implementation process.
2. Data Management & Analysis
Understand and work with data models, ETL processes, and system integration points.
Support the development and maintenance of data dictionaries and mapping between legacy and new systems.
Ensure compliance with data governance and information security standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Technical Writer, preferably in the insurance or financial industry.
Proficient in writing detailed and clear technical documentation.
Good understanding of insurance or financial business processes.
Data analysis and data management skills are an advantage.
Proficient in documentation tools (Confluence, MS Office) and diagramming tools (Figma, Visio, Lucidchart).
Knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and system integration processes.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
Preferred: CBAP/CCBA, Power BI, or technical writing certifications.
