JOB DESCRIPTION
Analyze business logic of assigned screens on the legacy system: screen purpose, items/events, validations, screen flow, related data and stored procedures.
Use AI in daily work to analyze source code and documents and summarize screen behavior; verify AI output by running the legacy system.
Create test viewpoints (Normal/Abnormal/Boundary) and Parity Test cases (new system vs. legacy).
Check scope, consolidate open points and raise QnA to the BrSE/client (business scenario, options with recommendation).
Review BD/DD design documents against a checklist: cross-check legacy/SP/BE/FE, trace coverage; approve designs before onsite review.
Support Testers in Parity Testing; classify bugs with SSEs (real bug / existing legacy defect / approved difference).
Update progress on Redmine and daily reports; join daily team and onsite–offshore meetings.
REQUIREMENTS
3+ years as a BA on software projects; migration / re-engineering / system replacement experience preferred.
Able to understand business logic from an existing system (screens, source code, basic SQL/stored procedures).
Strong in writing test viewpoints/test cases; experience reviewing design documents (BD/DD).
Experience using AI in BA work and verifying AI output.
Japanese reading skills (screens, messages and documents are in Japanese) – JLPT N3 or above.
Detail-oriented with strong comparison/cross-checking skills.
Experience with Japanese clients; TV/e-commerce sales, logistics or HR domain.
Familiar with Redmine, Git, VS Code.
