JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Senior Backend Developer to build a dedicated application for the insurance company's team of agents and financial consultants.
Objective: To create a unified platform that digitizes and optimizes daily operational activities for agents, including customer management and performance tracking.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Technical Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, and/or .NET 8+.
Strong proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and Web APIs, utilizing Entity Framework, LINQ, and asynchronous programming techniques.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Clean Code practices, and Clean Architecture.
Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Database (including Tables, Views, Stored Procedures, Functions, Sequences, and Query Optimization).
Practical experience working with Microsoft SQL Server.
Proven ability to handle complex data processing, optimize database queries, and perform advanced data analysis.
Ability to work with Angular at a Junior to Mid-level proficiency to support frontend development requirements when necessary.
2. Software Architecture & System Design
Practical experience or a strong understanding of Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, Event Sourcing, and Distributed Systems.
Good understanding of caching mechanisms (Redis), message queuing technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus), High Availability, Scalability, and Performance Optimization.
Working knowledge of API Security, Authentication and Authorization mechanisms, and OWASP Security Best Practices.
Understanding of application Logging, Monitoring, and Observability principles.
3. AI & Developer Productivity
Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI-powered software development tools.
Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve productivity in coding, troubleshooting, code reviews, and technical documentation.
Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, reliability, and code quality.
Familiarity with AI Agents, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) is considered an advantage.
4. Professional & Interpersonal Skills
Strong programming aptitude and solid systems thinking capabilities.
Excellent analytical, system design, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Proactive mindset, strong sense of ownership and accountability, and ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Willingness to continuously learn, adapt, and embrace emerging technologies.
5. Preferred Qualifications / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Azure Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Experience designing and developing large-scale systems that handle high transaction volumes and high levels of concurrency.
