JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking for 01 Backend Java Developer (REACTIVE Java)
Participate in developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications within the Life Insurance domain, supporting policy administration, customer management, financial transactions, and business processes throughout the insurance product lifecycle.
Develop and maintain backend services, ensuring reliable data processing, application performance, security, and operational stability across enterprise systems.
Build and enhance business functionalities to support asynchronous processing, data synchronization, workflow automation, and efficient execution of insurance operations.
Participate in business requirement analysis, solution design, and service integration with internal applications, business partners, and external platforms.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, DevOps, and relevant stakeholders throughout software development, testing, deployment, and production issue resolution.
Optimize application performance, improve software quality, and ensure system scalability, maintainability, and service continuity under evolving business demands.
Support production operations by investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing improvements to strengthen system reliability and operational efficiency.
Contribute to standardizing development practices, enhancing technical documentation, and continuously improving software delivery quality to support the organization's digital transformation initiatives and long-term business objectives.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 05 years of backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs and Microservices development.
Hands-on experience with Reactive Java, preferably Spring WebFlux and Project Reactor (Mono/Flux); solid understanding of Asynchronous Programming, Non-blocking I/O, and Concurrency.
Strong SQL proficiency and experience with at least one database: PostgreSQL, Oracle, or Azure SQL Managed Instance.
Solid knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Function Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Application Gateway.
Strong understanding and implementation experience with OAuth2, JWT, API Authentication/Authorization, and Secure Coding Practices.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Full-time onsite at client's office District 1 - HCMC
Referred Requirement (Nice to have)
Experience with Message Queues such as Azure Service Bus, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ; understanding of Event-driven Architecture and Distributed Systems.
Experience with Background Jobs, Workers, and Task Queues, including Retry, Timeout, Error Handling, and Data Consistency mechanisms.
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices Deployment, and system performance optimization techniques.
Experience with Observability tools such as Azure Application Insights, Graylog, or other Logging, Monitoring, and Distributed Tracing solutions.
Familiarity with ReactJS or modern JavaScript frameworks to support Full-stack development collaboration.
Prior experience in Banking, Insurance, Fintech, Digital Payments, or Financial Services projects is preferred.
